Appco Group are a worldwide field marketing company. Partnering with hundreds of direct marketing companies across the UK, Appco Group representatives engage in thousands of face-to-face interactions every day. Appco Group teams create the public face for many organisations across many sectors, carrying out direct sales, door to door customer acquisitions, fundraising opportunities and marketing solutions.
Green Spark have been involved with this event and many others for the Appco Group for over fifteen years.
The phenomenal success of Appco Group is in part, down to a highly motivated and enthusiastic workforce. Maintaining this level of energy long term requires lots of work and one of the highlights in the Appco Group calendar is their European Convention. This high energy event for between 800 and 3000 attendees, is about eight hours of awards, recognition and motivational speeches, leaving the Appco Group staff and partners fully charged ready for the next twelve months.

Appco Group and Green Spark have become a well integrated team on this event. Year on year the show has developed, keeping on top of the latest styles and technology ensuring that the Appco Group workforce are presented with a memorable day every time. The event itself involves artists (including dance troupes, Soul Bands and drummers playing drums as big as a transit vans – to name but a few) all performing live on stage, with DJs, pyrotechnics and so much more. All of this requires careful planning and stage management to ensure continuity, fluidity and of course safety.
2015 saw Appco at the IndigO2 in a new and exciting format that incorporated another one of the Appco Group quarterly meetings the day before, but on the same stage. Appco were very keen to ensure that the look of the European Convention was not revealed before the big day. This meant two set designs and two video projection set-ups. To achieve this Green Spark provided two teams, one to run the audio visual set-up during the day, and a second to transform the stage overnight. While the stage was being transformed the Green Spark media team where capturing footage of the nominees for the big award. These nominees were only announced at the first meeting. Overnight this raw content was then edited and graphics added, to create the video idents for the following day.
