Production Supervisor
Lead Events. Support Teams. Deliver Exceptional Experiences.
Green Spark is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our growing team delivering conferences, awards ceremonies, live events, installations and broadcast projects across the UK.
This is a hands-on technical and leadership role combining production planning, team supervision and live event delivery. You’ll play a key part in helping projects run smoothly from preparation through to on-site execution.
Salary & Benefits
- £29,000 – £35,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Typical on target earnings: £32,000 – £42,000
- Annual bonus scheme
- Pension
- 28 days holiday plus additional service-related holiday
- Training and development opportunities
- Travel, accommodation and expenses provided when working away
About the Role
As a Production Supervisor, you’ll lead small technical teams delivering professional audio visual and production services for corporate events and installations.
You’ll work closely with clients, venues and the wider Green Spark team to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and with attention to detail.
The role combines technical expertise with organisation, leadership and communication skills. One day you may be leading a conference setup, another planning logistics for a large awards event or supporting an AV installation project.
This is a varied and fast-moving role within a company that genuinely values teamwork, professionalism and continuous improvement.
Typical Responsibilities
- Leading technical delivery on live events
- Supervising and supporting technicians on-site
- Preparing equipment lists and production documentation
- Assisting with proposals and technical planning
- Liaising with clients and venues
- Operating sound, lighting and video systems
- Preparing and packing equipment
- Supporting installations and maintenance work
- Helping maintain high technical and presentation standards
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for somebody who combines strong technical knowledge with a calm, organised and proactive approach.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working on live events and AV productions
- Good working knowledge of sound, lighting or video systems
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude
- A willingness to travel and work flexibly when required
- Full UK driving licence
You do not need to be an expert in every discipline, but a strong background in one or more technical areas is important.
Applicants should have practical experience working with live audio visual systems and event technology. Experience solely in film production, editing or media creation without hands-on live event AV setup experience is unlikely to be suitable for this role.
Why Join Green Spark?
We’re a long-established production company with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality live events and AV solutions.
Our team works across conferences, awards, streaming, LED video walls, installations and broadcast projects, meaning no two weeks are ever the same.
We believe in:
- Supporting and developing our team
- Giving people ownership and responsibility
- Maintaining high standards
- Investing in equipment, systems and training
- Building long-term relationships with clients and staff alike
